This sweet home on the Delta has been a working farm for over 100 years. Our grandfather farmed asparagus and zinnias, feed corn and winter wheat. It is now surrounded by more than 200 acres of vineyards that supply some of the state's pre-eminant winemakers. The family welcomes those who seek a retreat that fosters creative inspiration.
The property consists of the original farm house and two guest houses surrounded by lush gardens and patios. The accommodations are warmly appointed with an eclectic mix of furnishings both old and new. A repurposed barn serves as a gathering space for workshops, yoga classes and other get togethers.
We are the Wheeler Sisters, Sarah Cobb, Kate Rock & Caroline Perkins, daughters of Becky & Bill Wheeler, granddaughters of Dorothy & Bill Beck, and great-granddaughters of Arthur & Mabel Seymour, the original owners.
Our mother grew up here and lived her life among these gardens and fields. We spent our early summers swimming in the pool, running across the hot bricks, and playing in the attic. As the fourth generation stewards of this ranch, we are committed to bringing this space to others. We hope you are also inspired by this oasis in the heart of the Delta.
